The price of a tow truck in Kharkiv depends on two things: the type of vehicle and the distance. Within the city a base rate applies: a passenger car from 1,500 UAH, an SUV or minibus up to 3 t from 1,800 UAH, a truck, bus or special machinery up to 7 t from 2,200 UAH. Dispatch within Kharkiv, loading and unloading are already included.
Outside the city, mileage is added to the base price (from 2,000 UAH for a passenger car): 40–50 UAH per kilometre the tow truck drives outside Kharkiv, there and back. Only work beyond normal loading is charged separately: pulling a car out of a ditch, a car with locked wheels or broken steering, putting an overturned car back on its wheels. We tell you about these in advance as well.
